Most of you might have heard about this. Yes Randy Shannon, the Hurricanes’ Football headcoach’s contract has been terminated. As such, there is now a vacancy for the post of Football Head Coach for Miami Hurricanes.

Report: Gruden heading to UM?

Not even a full day after Miami’s breakup with Randy Shannon and the school may have already found their newest head coach. And it’s a big fish. According to Lake Lewis of Sports Journey Broadcast Network on his Twitter page, former NFL head coach Jon Gruden is leaving ESPN for Coral Gables to become the newest head coach at the University of Miami.

Miami Hurricanes Category 5 Failure: Is Randy Shannon’s Coaching Career Done?

Football at the University of Miami is at a cross roads, going into the final game against USF the Hurricanes have turmoil swirling around the entire program. The Virginia Tech game seems to be the straw that broke the Camel’s back even though the Canes played well for most of the game, the fourth quarter left a bad taste in the mouth of a large number of fans.

Wow! Did I read it correctly? I thought I saw somewhere in the above sites, the new headcoach is bound to get a $3 million contract for three years? I think I might also send in my resume. Who knows, I just might get lucky.

I wonder how much the headcoach of any of our Malaysian Super League team gets for their effort in developing the team.
