Miami brought their A game to the ATL on Saturday and rolled out with a convincing 35-10 win. Virginia Tech took down North Carolina, so next weekend’s match up with the Hokies isn’t do or die for the ACC crown, but it will be a great showdown between two of the conference’s best.

24. Miami Hurricanes (7-3) – Randy Shannon and the Hurricanes moved to 7-3 with a win over North Carolina. Freshman Stephan Moore threw for 230 yards and a touchdown in the win.

Miami trounced Georgia Tech in perhaps its most impressive win of the 2010 season on Saturday, 35-10. It was an all around solid effort by the Hurricanes, who appear to finally be gelling as a team.
The Miami Hurricanes football program is broken. Long gone are the days of perennial top 5 rankings. CORAL GABLES – It appears Hurricanes coach Randy Shannon won’t be forced to decide whether to start Jacory Harris or Stephen Morris in Saturday’s crucial game against Virginia Tech. Shannon said Sunday that the team is taking “baby steps” with Harris as he recovers from a concussion Oct. 30 at Virginia.

Four Miami running backs scored touchdowns, receiver Leonard Hankerson joined the party with three catches for 132 yards and another touchdown, and the Hurricanes amassed a season-high 507 yards to dominate the Yellow Jackets 35-10 Saturday at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
Yes, the Miami Hurricanes are now ranked 21 in the coaches poll. They also lost to the Noles this year. Still, they are not out of the ACC title chase yet.
