Wouldn't You Like To Work At Home?
1. Got out of my comfort zone.
I spent 16 solid years at my previous company. That’s quite a long time at just one company. At first I thought of it as being loyal. Is this true?
After thinking about it for some time, I figured it out. It’s not about being loyal. The job was my comfort zone. I was trapped in that zone. When I think about it, I was trapped in that zone for about 5 years or so.

2. Ventured into retail business.
The main reason for my leaving my comfort zone. I was given the chance to operate a Free Store. Yes! I was a Free Store Operator. Until today, I still have yet to find anything that comes even close to this amazing opportunity.
I and my wife. We both operated the Free Store for about six months before we handed it back to the company. It was the best six months of this year for me. I learned a lot about the business world, especially in retail.
3. Becoming a Work at home dad.
After getting the taste of the retail world, I am now experiencing the life of a Work From Home Dad. Now that I don’t have a store to run, I can give my 100% focus on my Online Business.
Working at home. I’ve always envied people who was able to work at home. It’s been my dream to someday be able to work from the comfort of my home. I still find it hard to believe that I am actually living my dream today.
Looking back, I’ve just realized that I’ve managed to go from getting out of my old comfortable IT management job to becoming a work from home dad in just about one year. Alhamdulillah.
One thing I learned this year. To achieve your dreams, all you have to do is just believe in yourself and DO IT. It really is that simple. If you don’t do it, then you will never achieve it. Fikirkan Boleh!
Now, as I am fairly new at this working from home thing, there will certainly be a lot of learning for me to do. I’m sure there will be ups and downs. I will just have to endure it all. Be persistent and consistent.
2010 is the year I started to work from home. 2011 will be the year I work on my business to success, Insyallah. In order to be successful, I will need a Plan for my Online Business – something which I have been working on for a bit now.
