Great Little HD & Great Quality For The Price
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I received this great little hard drive from Amazon in 4 days with free shipping, no tax and excellent price. Great service as usual from Amazon.

I purchased this HD to compliment my Acer Aspire One AOD 250 netbook. I had the HD plugged in and up and running 10 minutes after removing it from the box.

I am not particularly crazy about the manager program that is pre-installed on the HD but I can live with it.

After only 15 minutes of operation I copied about 120 GB of music, videos & pictures from a older HD to this new little Seagate. No problems and was very fast.

As of this writing which is only about 2 hours after owning this great little drive I cannot find any fault with this drive and it is working great for the reasons why I purchased it.

I would highly recommend this drive as a supplement for any computer but is small in physical size and fits in most netbook sleeves or cases and would be excellent for netbooks & laptops. The power consumption from what I’ve read is very low on this drive which would explain the reason why it only needs one(1) USB port instead of two(2) with a Y-cable like some USB only powered devices do and it comes with just a short one(1) plug USB cable. I have not tried it or saved anything to it while the netbook was on just battery power and all the above copying was done with the netbook plugged into external power.

Works great for my purpose so far. Highly recommend it!

    Good Luck :)

    It works like a charm

The Seagate external hard drive was very easy to plug in and use. I plugged it into the USB port on my Dell Dimension E521 computer running Windows 7, and found the external hard drive in Windows Explorer folder. I backed up my computer to this Seagate external drive. It works like a charm. I am very happy with it.

Fast, Easy to Use, and Works With Windows 7

This is my first portable hard drive, so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I am very happy with it. Besides looking snazzy, it was easy to install and set up, and it is fast! I bought it to backup files from my old computer, to move into my new computer, and it worked perfectly, making this the easiest computer move ever!

Mine actually came with updated software that worked with Win7, but if you need the update, you can go to Seagate’s website to send an email with the serial number of your FreeAgentGo, and within a few hours, they will send you a link to the updated software.

I highly recommend this external hard drive.

Great back up; nice looking hard drive; easy to use.

This sleek and easy to use portable hard drive is a back up that I should have done a long time ago. I wanted to have a portable drive to put my music in, and at the same time, have to option to just take it with me and plug it in to play music wherever I am. Thought of getting a USB, but needed more space for future use.

When I looked around for a portable hard drive, I found the Seagate to the features I wanted. Now I feel secure that my audio files are safe and I can take them anywhere with me without the bulk or needing extra space. Highly recommnended!
