What Is The Law of Attraction?

This Universal Law is applicable to everyone. No matter your race, color, or background, if you understand the concept and practice it, you will benefit from it. All you have to do – know what it really is and take actions.

Like attracts like, that is the basic concept of the law. The concept, however, goes beyond just physical likeness. The theory actually applies to attraction of like energies with each other. Positive energies are attracted to similar positive energies. To this extent, the law implies that if you are a positive thinker, you therefore attract similar positive energy and occurrences towards you. Similarly, when you think negatively, you become a magnet to negative results.

How to Take Advantage of the Law of Attraction

To take full advantage of the attraction law, you must go further than just thinking positively. Positive thinking is but only the tip of it all. To benefit, the law requires that you be very specific in your thoughts. In other words, you must truly know what you want and think about it clearly. Thinking “I will be rich” will not do it. You must be very specific – “I have 1 million in the bank account by December 31st 2009”.

There are those who believe that it works better if you can visualize yourself already having what you want. Think and visualize yourself in the future happily using whatever it is that you are wishing for. Think “Driving to the beach in the new BMW Z4 which you bought with the 1 million you have on New Years Day”. The futuristic thinking process also prepares you mentally and emotionally for the moment you get what you want.

Mind Power to Success

The biggest stumbling block in this concept lies in your own self. For many who have tried this and failed, the reason for failing is usually their self doubt. In order to be successful in applying the attraction law, you must rid yourself of any doubts whatsoever. To succeed, you must be 110% confident that you will achieve your target in the speculated amount of time. Your doubts will only work against whatever it is you are trying to achieve.

For most people, letting go of doubts is not a simple matter. Even the most positive thinkers may experience moments of uncertainty, once in a while. They may at times also hesitate at the moment when their dreams are about to come true.

Believing completely in what you want and in the certainty of receiving it may take some practice for some people. If this is true for you, then begin everyday with exercises to strengthen your mind. Practice every day visualizing what you want and owning it. You will have begun your journey into using the law of attraction to your advantage.

The above are among the few so called facts we read or hear about regularly. Are they true or just myths?

I just came across this particular video from CBS Money Watch. It’s a brief talk about the many gas saving myths traveling around the net.

Now, I’m no gas expert. If you are one, what say you about the facts pointed out in the video?

Gas shopping doesn’t work in Malaysia and perhaps many parts of the world. Here gas price is fixed. It’s the same price everywhere.

No, you are not going to be a millionaire just by saving on your gas expenses. However, you can use the savings on other projects that bring you more income. Now, that’s the millionaire mindset.

Is a mentor really neccessary?

In this internet age, there is no doubt that you can easily find information. Most, if not all, of the information you need are now available at the touch of a Google Search button. There are a multitude of forums, blogs and membership sites where you can get information about anything that you want.

There’s just too much information on the internet. If you just rely on the net, you are most likely to end up with analysis paralysis. You would have an immense collection of information which you don’t know what to do with.

All those information you’ve amassed, needs to be massaged into knowledge. Knowledge comes from experience. To gain experience, you need to turn all those information you’ve compiled into actions that can be performed. In short, you need to practice what you’ve learned.

A mentor, with years of experience and knowledge, simply accelerates your learning process. A mentor, from experience, will be able to inform you why certain methods are successful or not so successful.

A mentor provides you with a model which you can emulate. You basically model the actions of your mentor. Do what he does. Do it how he does it. Do it when he does it. By modeling your mentor, you will ultimately transform all the actions you simulate into your very own behavior.

There’s a saying, that if you do something repeatedly for at least 40 days, that action will become part of your behavior. So, basically, if you want to be like your mentor, just model your mentor and do whatever the mentor does for at least 40 days straight.

Yes, you probably can succeed without a mentor. The journey will just be a little bit longer. You’ll be acting on the information you collected without a guide. If a certain method or action is not successful, you’ll only know about it after you’ve done it.

Which path are you willing to take? The short or the long path? Either way, the most important thing is to ACT on it. As a matter of fact, ACT Now!

This easy millionaire money management system involves having at least 6 jars. The idea behind these jars is to burn into your subconscious a millionaire mindset about monthly money management. Once you’ve set the methodology a natural habit or your monthly routine, your monetary problems and worries will gradually  disappear.

The six jars are to be labeled as:

1. Financial Freedom Account (10%)
2. Long Term Savings and Spending (10%)
3. Education (10%)
4. Play (10%)
5. Give (5% – 10%)
6. Necessity (50% – 55%)

The percentage attributed to each jars above, represents the percentage amount of money which you must put into the jars every single month. All you need to do every month is to allocate a certain amount of money for the money management jars.

Remember, you need to turn this into a part of you. Make it your natural money management habit. Here’s a secret of the millionaire mind for you. In order to do this, you need to ensure that you do it every single month without fail. As such, you must start with an amount which you can really afford. You can even start with $1.00. You can certainly afford to spare a dollar for the money jars couldn’t you? Yes, just allocate a dollar a month to the jars to start with. Of course if you can afford to allocate more, the better.

So how do you use this basic money management system? Lets take a look at it now. To make calculations easy, lets say you are allocating $100 to the jars every single month. Here is how to break down the $100 into the jars:

1. Financial Freedom Account ($10.00)
2. Long Term Savings and Spending ($10.00)
3. Education ($10.00)
4. Play ($10.00)
5. Give ($5.00)
6. Neccessity (%55.00)

Once again, you need to turn this into your money management habit. Thus, allocate a monthly amount which you are sure you can afford. Start small. Managing small amount of money is easier. Raise the amount gradually as and when you can afford to add more. Do not fail to do it on a monthly basis.

Just do it. Go get yourselves 6 jars to manage your money with. I don’t know about the area where you live. I bought my jars at RM2.00 a piece. A money management method that costs just RM12.00, not bad.

Don’t worry about what each jars are to be used for. I’ll be covering each of the 6 money management jars and their usage in the next upcoming posts in this Millionaire Mindset series.

Through out the years, you most certainly have heard things about money. Money is this, money is that, money does this, money does that, etc. Those things that you’ve heard about money all this while, they have become your money beliefs. They are buried deep within your subconscious mind that you don’t realize that they control how you react with money.

How about we take a look at some of these beliefs you and I may have about money.
1. Money is the root of all evil.
2. Money does not bring happiness.
3. Money cannot buy love.
4. Money is hard to come by.
5. Money doesn’t grow on trees.
6. Money is never enough.
7. Money comes with big responsibility.
8. Money can’t solve problems.
9. Money leads to corruption
10. Money makes money.

Look at what money is associated with above. What do you think of them? Do you think they are right? Sure you do, at least to a couple, maybe more, of them. I know I did. Up until last weekend, that is.

What effect do these beliefs have on you? Take a look at your life right now. Are you having problems making ends meet at the end of the month? Are you earning a large income but can’t seem to be able to make the best out of it? Every month, you get your pay check and by the end of the month, you are left with none. You have things you would like to do, but don’t have enough funds to do it? You work hard, really hard to earn your monthly paycheck. No matter how much you bring back at the end of the month, it’s never enough. You seldom get the chance to spend your earnings on things you really want.

Money really is a problem for you. It’s no surprise, really. Why so? Just take a look at the beliefs about money you have. Do any of them support you in terms of money? No! Not even one! All the beliefs about money which have been drilled into your soul does not support you having money. Now, if you subconsciously believe that money is not good for you, how on earth are you suppose to have any at all? Now, are you still wondering why you never seem to have enough money? Is it really not enough? Is it only in your head?

The above money associations are buried deep within your subconscious mind through years of input from your upbringing. The result of which is your current financial situation. As such, in order to be successful with money, you’ll need to transorm those beliefs so that they are more supportive of you when it comes to money. What you need is a to switch from this pauper mindset into the Millionaire Mindset. What does it take to have a Millionaire Mindset? A lot of unlearning, learning, and practise.

Unlearn? Yes. You’ll first need to unlearn all the beliefs you have about money. As the saying goes – “If one’s cup is already full of tea, there is no more room for new tea”, or something to that extent. What I’m trying to say here is, before you can learn and drill into your mind the new set of beliefs about money, you will have to first unlearn the old beliefs. If this is not done, then you will not be able to absorb the new beliefs into your system.

You’ll need to go through an intensive mindset transformation program. Such program will certainly assist you in your quest to shake off the old beliefs. Once the old is out, you can then absorb the new beliefs which will then turn you around in terms of your money beliefs.

Why don’t you write down the beliefs you have about money right now. See if they support you or not. If you find that they don’t (more than likely), then perhaps it is time for you to take action and transform them for the better.

You certainly can become a millionaire! You are positively capable of becoming a millionaire. How? By thinking, feeling and doing everything that a millionaire does. You can be your very own millionaire by changing your mindset and habits to model one of a millionaire. Transform yourself to have the Millionaire Mindset.
