GREAT WHEN IT WORKS WHICH ISN’T ALWAYS
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
I have been using a Logitech LX700 since June, 2005, and I have a recurring problem with the keys either not printing at all or repeating the same letter across the page. First I have to hit the same key about ten times to get the letter to print, and then when I try to delete all the extra letters, I end up deleting everything and have to start all over again. This drives me absolutely crazy, and it happens on a regular basis. It always resolves itself after a few days, so I don’t know what causes this problem. The first time it happened, just a few months after I bought this set, I emailed Logitech, but they were no help at all. They just told me to “try it with another computer”. What do they expect me to do – go around and ask my neighbors if I can plug my keyboard into their computer? I was unable to find any contact number for Logitech so I could actually speak to someone on the phone. This set has a 5-year warranty, but they did not offer to replace it, so what good is the warranty?
I NOW OWN 3

I have had 2 of these keyboards, one at work and one at home, and made the mistake of buying a Microsoft unit for my wife at her work. Well let me tell you what a mistake. So now I have hunted all over the place trying to buy a third unit for her. Just found a refurb one here at Amazon. This unit is smooth, easy to handle, quick, no click three or four times to get it to connect with base, nice features on mouse, and quick connect buttons on keyboard. This is the only one for me folks, dont let any of the others fool you. This one is it!!!!!! Book’em
Fantastic KB
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Had this KB-mouse set forever.
The BEST key feed-back and pressure of all the KB I’ve owned in the past. The keys are curved, so the fingers find a nice depression for easy thouch typing…. even if you do it with two fingers
The model I have is LX300 which is the same as LX700.
Love the mouse recharge in the cradle and no battery changing…. ever.
I don’t like the newer models where you need to keep feeding the mouse with batteries. It’s a hassle.
One slight problem with the mouse; sometimes it goes crazy and switch into SOFT SCROLL for no reason at all. Could not figure out why and disable it on the setup menu… don’t need it.
Could be some software do-hicky problem.
I never used soft scroll anyway.
Great mouse, but the keyboard?
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
I love having cordless items, so I snatched this deal up. I have really enjoyed using the mouse in this set. It’s comfortable, easy to clean, and works very well with my desktop setup. It’s easy to reconnect and it’s easy to recharge and store!
However, the keyboard was a whole different story. It constantly disconnected itself, even when it had a fresh battery and when I was doing nothing more exotic than typing 18 inches away from the receptor. I called support quite a few times in frustration when it conked out in the middle of a pc game, and they told me that quite a few people had a problem with this model. Re-calibrating it could also be difficult, involving a much more complex process than the simple button-pushing described on the underside of the keyboard.
I found the f-mode to be unnecessary as well, since I use the f-keys for gaming and was constantly having to switch back and forth between f mode to use some of the gaming functions.
I kept the mouse– I replaced the keyboard with a corded one. Less hassle, although I hate having a cord.
Great product!

After using my laptop a lot, I started getting a lot of pain in my wrists. I started looking into external keyboards. A friend recommended this product to me. I thought it was a pretty good price, so I went ahead and bought it. I have been very satisfied with my purchase (over 2 years now). The mouse holds charge very well. Also, after using this product, the pain in my wrists went away. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.
