A Wonderful Gift For My Great Fiance - White Gold Cross Necklace
I wanted to find my wife one thing very significant for our anniversary. This will be our first anniversary and I simply really wished to articulate my love and my faith with a great present. I was looking at a ton of white gold jewelry. This is because my wife likes silver better than gold, but I need to give her something of the greatest value. I come across a sterling silver cross necklace, but this isn't quite what I am searching for. I want something of value, but not quite as expensive as the platinum cross necklace I found!
I keep looking. As I am looking I think about my gorgeous wife. I think about how true her conviction is and how much I admire her for that. I want to buy her something which indicates my admiration, my adoration, and my appreciation. I find some very pretty white gold cross earrings, but she currently has tons of earrings. Thus I keep looking.
I eventually discover what I'm looking for--a white gold cross necklace. It's plain, simple, and absolutely gorgeous--just like my wife. I am sure she'll love it. I instinctively order it the minute I find it.
Unfortunately, the way that I am, I am completely confident when I purchase the present, but the time between then and giving it to her I convince myself it was terrible, I fret and worry. What if a white gold cross necklace is not the perfect thing to get my spouse? She deserves the finest, is it the best I can do?
So, following making myself sick for two weeks distressing about my wife's reaction to her new white gold cross necklace, I give it to her.
I hold my breath.
She starts crying! Oh my goodness, what have I done? I nearly begin crying too, I try to relax her and then she looks at me, and she says,
"Dear, this is the most beautiful white gold cross necklace necklace I've ever seen and I feel blessed to boast a partner such as you who would think to give it to me."
Okay, good, I can start breathing again, she doesn't despise me... hang on, she really likes it...wow, I chose something really good for my wife? Well, that's what she says.
I now know that when I am looking to buy jewelry for my wife, I should always go with my gut instinct. I've known her long enough to know what she likes and she wears that white gold cross necklace every day, so I'm pretty sure I did a good job.
