The system is a good value for the money and has plenty of power but on some recordings the bass range sounds very muddy. There is no way to independently adjust or tune out the subwoofer. I thought that I could listen to music in the small room where I use my computer, but the sound quality is decidely mixed.

I am actually using these speakers on our 25″ flat screen tv/monitor in our bedroom. I didn’t want to get a full surround sound for the bedroom, I just needed something compact, yet great sounding. I got both. The only thing, like the other reviewers wrote, is the only power switch is on the back of the sub and not on the satellites. Otherwise, great product

This products sound fills a small-mid sized room beautfully, …

I paid $30 for this product a few weeks ago, so I feel terrible that some will pay the newly listed price of $40…But let me say, I impressed that the speakers could deliver the sound quality throughout my entire bedroom effortlessly. Direct sound can sound a bit muffled at times, but that is only because it fills a room so well…Ups and Downs like everything else…Bang for the buck indeed. On/off switch is in the back of the subwoofer, which is a bit strange. Not the most attractive system. It offers a Aux. input for an ipod or whatever else…I am a fan. Would I pay $40, I would have to say quite possibly. (I would have to take a second look at the competetion first:)

These are very nice speakers for the price. They provide excellent sound and look good while doing it. I liked them so much I purchased two. I have one for my PC. I was using the original cheapo speakers that came with the 5 year old PC, and these are a dream to listen to. I also got another one for the bedroom. The nice thing about them is that you can plug your mp3 directly into them and get a very nice sound. Excellent product!

    Great Little Speakers

These speakers are pretty amazing, considering their size and price. The sub-woofer offers solid base, and the two mid-range speakers manage to keep the highs without muddying. These are so good that I bought a second set for my son.
