Perhaps worth the price

You know when you get cheap headphones, and after a while the jack gets a little loose and you have to turn it to get the other ear to work? Well this happened to me with this set of actual speakers. This is unacceptable.
I owned cyber acoustic speakers before and was happy with their price and long term reliability (they lasted about 4 years without any problems), but these are not the same speakers. It doesn’t make sense for this to happen because they have been in the same place since I bought them. CHEAP
Talk about great sound!

I got these to replace some 6 year old Harmon Kardon speakers. I did my usual intensive research, but Amazon’s description was a little vague, so I went to Cyber Acoustic’s website, and then called the company. Turns out that this is an older version of one of their current products which is quite a bit more expensive. When I told the company rep what the Amazon price was, she said that was quite a discount. Armed with that info, and the good reviews (these are also listed elsewhere on Amazon with a price of $38.99 and a lot of GREAT reviews), I ordered them.
Even with the standard shipping, they were here in just a couple days. Couldn’t have been easier to set up and I’m VERY impressed with both the look and the sound. A couple other reviewers had issues with the blue light on the front of one speaker, which I don’t get at all. It doesn’t flash or anything, so I don’t see it as any more intrusive than the blue light on the front of the computer.
And as an example of how great the sound is, I was watching a TV show on my computer where a couple of the characters were out in a thunderstorm. There was a big clap of thunder on the show that was so realistic, my dogs freaked out and hid under the table.
Right now, I’m listening to my favorite radio station, and the music sounds wonderful.
I’m delighted with these.
Great Speakers

These speakers are great for the price. It sounds like the person or music is right in the room with you while listening. Great buy for the price
Great speakers for the price

I purchased this set on sale locally for 35 dollars. I used them to replace the tiny original speakers that came with my desktop and I’m very happy with the sound.
They’re great at playing background music as you work – even if you like to crank up the volume a bit now and then. Lots of bass (fully adjustable) from the sub-woofer and good sound overall.
True, nobody is going to mistake the sound for an expensive audio system but hey, these speakers only cost 35 bucks!
Bottom line: If you want to fill the house with sounds for your next party then these are not the speakers for you. But if you want decent sound while you sit at your computer and don’t want to spend lots of $$$$ then these are perfect.
Important note: The sub-woofer is clearly marked as UNSHIELDED – which means it puts out a magnetic field. Not a problem if you place it on the floor (where it belongs) but I wouldn’t place it next to anything sensitive like the monitor or the computer tower.
